Framed To Perfection
Handcrafted Frames Designed to Complement and Protect Your Artwork
The Finishing Touches
At Christina Peters Fine Art, I’m excited to offer custom framing to elevate your floral artwork and make the process even more seamless for you. Each frame is handmade to order in the USA from solid wood, no shortcuts, no cheap plastic or foam composites, just timeless quality built to last.
Frame Colors
You can choose from three beautiful, versatile frame finishes for any print or canvas:
- Gold: A warm, traditional finish that adds a classic elegance.
- Maple: A natural wood tone for organic warmth and contemporary appeal.
- White: Crisp and clean, perfect for modern, airy interiors.
Each frame color is selected to enhance the artwork while harmonizing with a wide range of home decor styles.

Frame Styles By Print Type
Paper Prints - Traditional Gallery Frame
Paper prints are framed in a classic gallery-style moulding. A clean-lined yet timeless profile that blends traditional and contemporary aesthetics. The print is dry-mounted for stability with acid free materials, placed in a 4-ply mat (either soft white or cream, pre-chosen to complement the image), and finished with a crystal-clear, optical-grade acrylic glazing that’s both durable and visually pristine.
- Matting: Acid free 4-ply with a 45-degree bevel cut
- Acid Free Dry mounting: Prevents slippage or buckling over time
- Glazing: 2.5mm thick acrylic. Shatter-resistant, museum-quality, crystal clear with no distortions
- Backed with kraft paper to protect from dust and insects
- Wired and ready to hang
I use high-quality 2.5mm optical-grade acrylic glazing instead of glass for all framed paper prints. Unlike the thin, flimsy acrylic often found in cheap ready-made frames, this thicker material offers exceptional clarity and durability. It’s also much lighter than glass, making it safer and easier to hang, especially for larger pieces. Plus, it's shatter-resistant, so there’s no risk of breakage during shipping or while on display, making it a smart and secure choice for your home.

Canvas Prints - Floater Frames
Canvas prints come ready to hang right out of the box - no frame necessary. However, if you’d like to elevate the presentation with a more polished, gallery-style look, you can add an optional floating frame for an elegant finishing touch.
If you choose to frame your canvas prints, they are finished with a sleek floating frame that creates a beautiful shadow line around the artwork. This style is perfect for showcasing the texture and depth of the canvas, giving it a refined gallery presentation.
- Clean edges that "float" the canvas within the frame
- Solid wood construction in your chosen color
- Kraft paper backing for a polished, professional finish
- Wired on the back and ready to hang
The floater frame also adds additional protection to the sides and corners of the canvas as well. For those of you that tend to move artwork around a lot, this could be a great option for you.

Thoughtful Hanging Hardware
All framed artwork arrives wired and ready to hang, no extra hardware required. I intentionally choose wire hanging instead of sawtooth or metal cleats. Here's why:
- Wire distributes the frame's weight evenly, helping to prevent stress and long-term damage to the frame structure.
- Sawtooth hangers are cheap and widely used, but they put undue strain on a small point of the frame, which can lead to warping or failure over time. They're not used in museum-quality framing, and they’re not used here. My work has been displayed in many galleries over the years and none of them accept artwork that is using sawtooth hangers.
This level of attention ensures your artwork not only looks beautiful but remains in excellent condition for years to come.
-
Sawtooth should not be used for any artwork larger than 11x14 - We do not use these at CP Fine Art.

Quality That Honors The Artwork
Each frame is made-to-order to match the high quality of the archival prints they hold. Whether you choose a gallery-style frame for your paper print or a floating frame for your canvas, you’ll receive a finished piece that’s ready to hang and built to last.
Your art deserves nothing less.
